In order to give development teams the best usability information available, User Interface Engineering devotes tremendous resources to research. Here is your chance to get a sneak peek at our ongoing research and methods in a series of sessions called "Research Perspectives." On Thursday, October 4, you'll have a chance to hear our preliminary findings straight from the people involved in the research.
Jared Spool, Founding Principal of User Interface Engineering, will start the day with an opening address. Then the researchers at User Interface Engineering will present six insightful Research Perspectives sessions, showcasing results from our user tests of various types of web sites, including e-commerce. Don't miss this incredible opportunity to benefit from the most current research on web-site usability.
The topics for the UIE Research Forum will be posted by September 6. At our last conference, attendees learned:
- What product information users want and need
- How to present useful category links
- What happens when users rely on search engines within sites
- How to design and use web applications
- What the latest and greatest tools and techniques for conducting usability studies are
- About the importance of content
At the end of the day, the entire research team will come together for a lively, interactive panel discussion where you and other audience members can get your questions answered.
Registration is required for the UIE Research Forum day; however, there is no registration for the individual Research Perspectives sessions. Attendance will be limited only by available space.
